Christopher Vincent Sabbagh, a beloved son, devoted friend, and cherished member of his beloved West Brighton community, passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 31. Born on October 5, 1994, in Staten Island, NY, Christopher’s life was a rich tapestry of love, laughter, and meaningful connections.
Christopher was the cherished son of Chris and Karen Sabbagh (née Carlucci), who nurtured his gentle spirit and supported him in all his endeavors. He was surrounded by a vibrant family, including countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom were touched by his quiet demeanor and quick wit.
Christopher’s loyalty and kindness were the hallmarks of his character, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him, and his love for fishing with his father was matched only by the joy he found in cooking. A true foodie, it was often thought that Chris was destined for a life as a chef.
Though we mourn the loss of Christopher, we also celebrate a life well-lived, a life that enriched the lives of others and left the world a little brighter, while all too soon. May his memory continue to inspire us to live with the same grace and generosity that he embodied every day.
