Jason V. Martin

Jason Vernon Martin Sr. a lifelong resident of New York City died unexpectedly on May 29, 2023. at the age of 45 at his home in New York.

Jason was born in New York City on June 14, 1977.  Jason worked in the construction industry. He was a hard worker who enjoyed helping others Jason was kind, thoughtful, and passionate about life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Jason was a Christian who was passionate about God and the life he lived. He would often have long discussions about God and faith with his brother Anthony. 

Jason is survived by his sons Jason, Jr. Jeremiah, and Jayden; his siblings, Cherise, Vernell, Andrea, Anthony, Terry, Amanda, and Ashley. He is predeceased by his parents Mr. Vurnell H. Martin and Mrs. Victoria L. Martin and his grandmother Ms. Vera Welsey Scott.

Jason was a devoted father who loved his sons. Jason was an avid video gamer and a huge comic book fan, Batman being his favorite comic book character. Jason was a kid at heart who appreciated the little things in life.
