Frank along with his wife owned and operated their Staten Island family business “Community Range and Appliance Service” where Frank became the “Maytag Man of Staten Island”. Frank was a loving, kind and honest man, often making friends wherever he would go. Frank was a family manthat loved his country and was very patriotic, Frank loved to travel to many locations within the United States wanting to see as many as possible in their family camper. Frank loved large gatherings surrounded by family, friends and good music. Frank especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, attending Cub Scout events and building Pinewood Derby race cars with them. In addition to his family and friends Frank was also a dog lover, always stopping to show affection to any of the neighborhood dogs he came across while walking his dog Molly. Frank loved baseball, macaroni (especially Sunday dinners), classic cars and woodworking, many people affectionately referred to Frank as having hands of gold because of the beautiful pieces of furniture he would create with ease. Frank often shared many of his interests alongside the people he loved.

He received an award for exemplary service back in 2019 for which he was so very proud to accept. The schools he worked at were I.S. 7 & I.S 75. Frank I will miss you. I will always remember when you would come in IS75 and have a cup of coffee with the gang. You always had a smile on your face. Never in a grumpy mood. Never a harsh word about anyone. We had a lot of laughs every day. Frank you were the best. I was honored to know you.

Frank and I coached our daughters, Amy and Valerie in softball.
He would always say to the team that we are going to learn the game, have fun and eat the most hot dogs and ice cream at the little league.
He was so pleasant. Everyone loved being around him.
Frank was a dear friend to me and my family.
To the Vadala family, I am so sorry for your loss.
