Susan L. Kitchens (Doyle), 77, of Staten Island, NY, passed away at RUMC on Sunday, October 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving children. She was born and raised in Port Richmond, Staten Island, NY and lived there until her passing. Sue was a 1964 graduate of Port Richmond High School and went on to earn her bachelor\’s degree at the College of Staten Island. She worked as an office manager for the Children’s Aid Society in Staten Island, a nonprofit organization.

Sue was known by her loved ones as Sue or Susie. She will be remembered as a loving mother and wonderful grandmother, who took tremendous pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Sue will be greatly missed by everyone that ever had the pleasure to know her. She loved her community where she had many friends and neighbors that were like family. She enjoyed cooking, reading, game shows, and crime dramas. She always enjoyed a trip to Shoprite.

Sue will now be reunited with her beloved parents Grace and Russell Doyle and her brother Russell Doyle Jr, and her sweet Oreo. She is survived by her sons, Damon Kitchens and his fiancé Kerry Clancy, of Mariners Harbor, and Devon Kitchens and his wife Maryann Fiore-Kitchens of Freehold, New Jersey; 4 grandchildren Mason, Nicole, Michael, and Joseph; her dear brothers Gary and Raymond Doyle; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00am funeral service at the funeral home on Friday, October 25, 2024.
