Ruth L Schuyler ( nee Velotta) of Mariners Harbor, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5 at Richmond University Medical Center. She was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Elm Park as a child. She has lived at present address since 1995. She enjoyed gardening , watching horror movies and her love of animals, especially her cats and dogs. Her favorite pastime was her family and especially her grandchildren, Grace and Cebastien Lowery . She had a great heart and would take anyone into her home.
Ruth is survived by her best friend and companion, Reuben Quinones and her children, Patrick W , Phillip A. Lowery and Thomas J. Schuyler.A dear aunt to Tabitha Velotta.
Visiting will be at the Cherubini-McInerney Funeral Home 1289 Forest Ave. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM . A funeral Service will be held Thursday evening at 8PM officiated by Rev. Bernard Berell. A private cremation will take place on Friday.
