Rose Bevilacquva, 94 of Westerleigh passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 20th. Born in Avellino, Italy she moved here to the states when she was just 3 years old. Rose grew up in New Brighton and moved to Westerleigh in 1968 where she had worked various jobs on Staten Island. She enjoyed gardening and many trips to Florida. She would also enjoy her morning walks and spending time with family.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, Livio (Lee) in 1990 and is survived by her loving daughters, Christine Simonson and Patricia Mulligan.
Funeral services will be held at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home at 8:15am on Monday. Mass of a Christian burial will be held at St. Teresa’s R.C. Church at 9:30am, followed by a burial at St. Peters Cemetery. Friends are invited on Sunday from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to St. Margaret Mary Food Pantry at St. Teresa’s R. C. Church.
