Peggy Hilton

On Friday, November 15, 2019, Peggy Hilton, loving wife, mother of two children and grandmother of three, passed away at the age of 69.

She is survived by her husband, Carl, her children, Eric Hilton and Meghan Persico, her daughter-in-law, Kerin Hilton, her son-in-law, Danny Persico, and her grandchildren, Maya, Liv and Ryan.

Peggy was born on March 30, 1950 in Staten Island, NY.  She was a teacher for over 25 years where she was admired by her students and co-workers for her endless creativity and energetic personality.  She retired in 2012 and enjoyed crafting, reading and spending time with her family, but nothing brought her more joy than all the time she spent caring for her grandkids. 

She touched the lives of so many with her caring and selfless nature. 

Peggy will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral will be held at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY on Tuesday at 9:15am with a Mass of a Christian Burial at St. Ann R.C. Church at 10am followed by a burial at Moravian Cemetery.  Viewing will be on Monday from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-9pm.

**In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306**

    I am so sorry for your loss. Although I didn’t know her that well, she helped me out and I will always remember her for her kind heart and welcoming smile.
