The heartbroken family of Michele Ann Romano (nee Matusiak), 45, lost their beautiful Michele on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Michele was a graduate of Curtis High School and earned her degree from the College of Staten Island where she majored in Nursing. Michele was a registered nurse; she worked in the emergency room for numerous Staten Island hospitals.

Michele was married to her husband Salvatore Romano for twenty- one years; and they have four children: Julianna, 20; Danielle, 19; Anthony, 17; and Cynthia, 10.

Michele was the loving daughter of Edward (deceased) and Julianna Matusiak. Michele had three siblings: Edward Matusiak, Laura Howley, and Susan Houle.

Michele sacrificed her career and devoted her life to her husband and children. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening.
