Michael J. Curren

Michael J Curren ,67, of Westerleigh passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

A lifelong Staten Islander, Michael was born and raised in Port Richmond. He graduated from Port Richmond H.S. in 1969. Michael worked for Verizon for over 30 years, first as an installer and later in company services before his retirement. He loved all kinds of fishing and was an avid reader. He enjoyed reading about history, particularly WWII.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly (nee Heycock), his loving children Evan (Kate) and Timothy Curren, Amy Goldfarb (Adam). A sister Dorothy Monteleone (Carmine) and his adoring grandchildren Aeryn and Rennon. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
