Michael Bonisisio

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Bonisisio announces his passing on Friday, March 9, 2018, at the age of 101 years.  Michael passed away peacefully and will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Michael retired as a District Forman from the NYC highway department a position he held for 27 years.  In his free time Michael enjoyed racing and breeding homing pigeons, Also Michael was an avid gardener, but above all Michael was a devoted family man that his whole family looked to and will continue to keep him in our hearts.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 77 years, Frances and his children, Diane, Linda (John) and Michael (Margie). Michael will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren, Raymond, Kevin, Tara (Will), John (Debbie), Michael (Lindsey) and Christopher (Brandy).   And his nine great grandchildren Brianna, Christopher, Kennedy, Zacery, Kristina, Kyle, Jenna, Benjamin and MJ.

Viewings will be held at Cherubini Mclnerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Ave Staten Island NY 10302 on Monday March 12 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm, and on Tuesday March 13 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm

A Funeral Service in memory of Michael will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at Cherubini Mclnerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Ave Staten Island NY 10302, followed by Mass held at Saint Adalbert\’s Church located at 355 Morningstar RD Staten Island NY 10303, precession will follow to Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery.
