Julia LaFata passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Richmond University Medical Center at the age of 96.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Sara (Francis) Ascone, Emanuela (Richard) Foran and her loving son, Vincent (Janet) LaFata. She\’s also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.
Julia was predeceased by her late husband, Andrew in 2006.
Born in Staten Island, she was a homemaker all her life to her late husband, Andrew and her 3 wonderful children. She enjoyed cooking, reading, going on family trips but most of all, spending time with all her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
