Joseph N. Caputo sadly passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Riverview Medical Center in Redbank, NJ at the age of 66.
Joe was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island with his family during his high school years. He graduated from Port Richmond High School in 1972 and worked for the United States Postal Service for 45 years and just recently retired as of August 1, 2020.
Joe enjoyed the simple life, riding his bicycle, reading his most favorite books and listening to music but most of all, he loved spending time with family and Joe will be dearly missed by all.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of nearly 36 years, Susan (nee Koerner), his adored son, Christopher, as well as his beloved siblings, Michael Caputo, the Rev. Grace Caputo and Roseann Kaczoroski.
He was predeceased by both his parents, Nicholas & Rose Caputo.

I spent some great times with Joe.. I’ll always treasure our feindship, he was a great guy, who helped me get thru many tough days at the Postal Service. He loved music , he introduced me to Springsteen music in early 70’s when we first started in the USPS. He loved Bruce before the world loved Springsteen. I’m grateful to have known you as a friend more than just a coworker. You are missed Joe!
