Joan Priola

Joan Priola, 86, of Rosebank, passed away peacefully, Monday,  at home surrounded by loved ones.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband George and her two loving sons Tony and Billy.

Joan was a proud mother; her four sons were a constant source of joy in her life and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them.

She found immense pleasure in the simple things, cooking, playing bingo, taking trips to Atlantic City and tending to her garden. Most importantly she took pride in family, often hosting large family gatherings to see all of her family together, smiling and celebrating. Her big heart and generosity were unparalleled. There wasn’t a person who she wouldn’t help if they needed it. Her kindness touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her legacy will live on through the memories we shared, the lessons she imparted, and the love she gave so freely.

Joan leaves behind to cherish her memory, her devoted sons, George and his wife Bee and Thomas Priola. She was a doting grandmother to Billy Jr., Elizabeth, and Kyla, a cherished great-grandmother to Gianna, Lailani, and Lulu and a loving sister to Betty, Robert, Thomas and Chuck. She also leaves behind her longtime companion, Dennis Schone who stood by her side with unwavering support and love.
