Janet Murray passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Richmond University Medical Center at the age of 86.
Janet Murray was a true force of love that could be felt to all those she would encounter. Her smile would capture your spirit and uplift it. Her style was always eccentric, that complimented the most exquisite skin. No matter what she could be experiencing or feeling, she was the person that would always be there to listen. She’d take your words and digest them, and return with the most miraculous, practical, or simplest suggestions. Janet’s heart beat for her family, for not a day could pass that they all were not in her morning prayers.
Janet passed away on Tuesday, July 6th 2021 at the age of 86. She was born on December 15th 1934, to Agatha Matthews and Eric Murray. Janet grew up in Port of Spain, Trinidad with four beloved brothers Robert, Conrad, Lenny and Keith. She truly embraced the culture of Trinidadian Carnival and enjoyed being a queen masquerader. Janet was a devoted Catholic, and submerged herself daily with prayers for her loved ones. She was kindhearted and generous, never let someone go without. Her aunts were very influential in her life Auntie Lucie, Aunt Thelma, and Auntie Jean.
Janet’s children are Wayne, Sharon, Kirk, and Karen. Her grandchildren are Chantel, Omari, John Ellis, and Chyann (deceased). Her great-grand children are Tyler and Miles Xavier.
