Age 83* Toms River NJ 

Helen Eckett Pomaro, age 83 of Toms River passed away peacefully on April 30th after a long battle with the Alzheimer’s disease/Covid 19. She was born on Staten Island where she lived for 68 years. Her remaining years, she lived in Toms River. Helen was a facility manager for The Bank of Tokyo which she retired from in 1992. Helen also enjoyed working at the Ritz roller rink in Port Richmond for many years. She sang in the church choir, loved to played bingo, she read tons of book before the disease. She enjoyed music and dancing she was always full of life.

Helen is survived by her sister Karen Fernandez of Forked River, daughter Wanda Pomaro Parisi and husband George of St. Cloud, Florida. Priscilla Pisanti and wife Daini Pisanti of Toms River, her 13 grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren. 

Due to the situation of Covid 19 the family has decided to have a memorial service later. She will have a Private burial at Moravian Cemetery on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at  9:30am .
