Gail K. Kish

Gail Kish Memorial Card Image

Gail Kish finally got her wings and went to walk with the angels on January 30, 2022, after a fighting a short difficult battle with metastatic uterine cancer. She was 72 years old.

Gail was born in Park Slope – Brooklyn, New York and she attended Bay Ridge High School and in her early years she eventually moved to Staten Island, New York.

In her children\’s young years she was a homemaker and instilled in them the values which have made them the strong, caring and confident men that they are today. She eventually returned to the workforce as a Realtor, Interior decorator, and finally found a job that she was destined for and loved doing by caring for people. She was employed by Staten Island University Hospital as a Senior Patient Care Associate where she remained for 25 happy years until she passed away in CentraState Hospital surrounded by her loving family..

It would be wrong to say that Gail lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Gail stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Gail just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.

Gail is survived by her husband, Charles to whom she was married to for 52 years, her three sons Michael Kish (Wife-Rina Kish) Jackson NJ, Scott Kish (Wife Leigh Kish) Bessemer City NC, and Christopher Kish (Wife-Jaimee Kish) Freehold, NJ. She also was a grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren Abigail, Noah and Greyson.
