Francine Vernaci passed away on August  20, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 81 years old.  Francine  was born on May 24, 1941 to Millie and John Lapadula. Nothing made her happier than being with her family, and she gave her all while raising her grandchildren.  She was known to many as Ma, and could often be found cooking up amazing meals at their family home in Princes Bay.   She earned the title “Frannie 5 sides” for the amount of food she cooked daily. Francine enjoyed gardening, watching the birds enjoy their beautiful yard and going to church with her husband on Sundays.
