Dorothy Doyle

July 25, 1944 ~ October 9, 2025

On Thursday, October 9th, Dorothy (Dottie) Doyle (nee Brown) joined her husband of 61 years Russell E. Doyle Jr.  and her daughter, Sandra Hetzel in heaven.   She is survived by her children, Lynn Garcia, her husband Richard Garcia, Pamela Doyle and her  husband Gary Yearwood, Kristine Schaefer and her husband John her son Russell E. Doyle III and his wife, Andrea.  She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren whom she adored.    Her surviving siblings will miss her deeply.   Margeret Ann (Mikey) Becker, Patricia Brown , Geraldine (Gerry) Roschbach, Joanne Sher, Celeste Marcigliano and her brother Vincent Brown.
Many many nieces and nephews enriched her life.

As an avid crafter, every person in her large circle of family and friends have enjoyed her homemade creations for many years.  She has several blue ribbons from the Richmond county fair for her exquisite crochet masterpieces.  She encouraged and passed her love of crafting to her family for generations to come.
She also shared her love of football and routed enthusiastically for the Eagles.  She has close friends as member of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary for many years.

  1. Much love and prayers sent to the entire Doyle family❤️… Mrs Doyle always treated me like family and welcomed me into her home..she was like a second mom to me when I was a young teen…. Rest easy Dottie… much love .. Jimmie and the entire Hinton family❤️❤️

  2. I just found out about your mom, she said more nice things about me and to me than my own mom. Her & Mrs.Sweeney were my other mothers.
    Our families were more than neighbors, we were family. God bless you all.

    1. Thank you so much David. We were a whole bunch of families rolled into one on Treadwell. God must need all his angels, because he is taking them one by one. Love to you and your family from all of us.
