Corey M. Smith sadly passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at home at the age of 49.  

Corey was born in Jamaica and moved to the states in 1986, where he attended college to pursue a degree in Science.   He became a chemist and worked in the Chemical industry for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and the history channel, listening to jazz music but most of all he enjoyed his time with all of his family and friends. 

He is survived by his loving daughter, Avionne (Darien) and his beloved fiancé, Azeema Garcia.  His cherished parents, Carmen & Anthony, his brother, Craig (Marlene), his sister, Kadian (Fadeyi) and his wonderful grandson, Justice Hern.  As well as many other extended family.  

For family and friends who can not attend Corey\’s viewing and service, we are providing streaming.

  3. Corey was such a nice person and I was so glad I had a chance to meet him. He spend a lot of time training me on 2nd shift. He was so smart and loved Science. He will be truely missed. He was a brother to me and he called me his sister. He shared a lot of things with me and I will cherish the moments we shared. Condolences to his family and friends.

  4. Me and Corey go wayyy back to the early 2000’s working for Sun Chemical in Staten Island and then Working for 14 years together at EMD Performance. Il miss my partner on 2nd Shift and pray hes in a better place now. My Condolences to his whole family & friends. 1 Luv Corey 4ever
