Antonio Montanti

June 15, 1941 ~ March 21, 2024

Antonio Montanti passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 82 in Staten Island. He
was born on June 15, 1941 in Canicatti, Sicily, where he lived for nineteen years. He
moved to Staten Island February of 1962 where he worked as a presser in the garment
industry for 35 years.

Antonio loved spending time with his family, they were everything to him. He spent his
free time in the garden and enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Rosalia Montanti; his children, Carmelo Montanti,
Francesca Riporti, Anthony Montanti, son in law John Riporti and his granddaughter
Nicole Dalconzo. He was predeceased by his brother Angelo Montanti.

Viewing will be held at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue. Staten
Island, NY 10302 on Sunday, from 2-7p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St.
Aldalbert’s R.C. Church 25 St. Adalbert’s Pl, Staten Island, NY 10303 on Monday at
10:00a.m. Burial to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 52 Tyler Avenue, Staten Island, New
York 10310.
