It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Earl Emmerson Estwick, known to many as Sunny or Emmie on January 5, 2025. He was born in Barbados on April 24, 1964 to parents Grace (nee Field) and Earl Estwick Sr. both of whom preceded him in death. A beloved son, sibling, uncle, partner, stepfather, and grandfather. Earl touched the lives of everyone he met with his warmth, kindness, and infectious spirit. In 1970, Earl immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of six and lived in Brooklyn New York, where he spent his childhood and early adulthood focusing on expanding his computer and interactive skills. He worked hard to achieve his goals and proudly obtained a college degree, paving the way for a life filled with personal and professional accomplishments. Customer service was his forte as he loved the personal interaction and satisfaction of knowing that he helped satisfy the other person’s needs or expanded their knowledge in areas of their interest.
Earl had a deep love for many things, but nothing brought him more joy than being with his family. He was a beacon of light to those around him, known for his laughter, generosity, and ability to form lifelong friendships. Earl never met a stranger, only new friends, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life was one of his greatest gifts.
Earl’s untimely departure will not erase the memories and impressions that he shared and cherished with his loved ones, friends or anyone who was fortunate to have spent time with him. He was articulate, sincere, and had a sense of humor that was at times contagious. He loved Social Media and connected with family and friends via this medium.
Earl’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and compassion. His presence brightened every room, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he is no longer with us, the lessons he taught about kindness, connection, and living life to the fullest will endure. Rest in peace, Earl. You will be deeply missed, but your light will never fade. Thank you for sharing your blessings and successes with so many of us.

Uncle Emmerson-
My memories of you will never leave me. Being in your presence always meant seeing you smile which then made me smile, laughing because of your endless humor and wild unexpected things that you’d say (that somehow usually were true because you kept it real), and living in the moment to enjoy what life has to offer. And lets not forget about your cooking and baking! Thank you for being unforgettable and absolutely loveable.
Love always and always,
Your niece Deidre

Sending condolences and prayers for strength to everyone who has been blessed by cousin Emerson’s life. Emerson shared a lot of love and positivity and that is how he will remain in our hearts. We have all been fortunate to have had Emerson as an important part of our lives. We often talked about enjoying knowing that we were born only 12 days apart.

My Dear cousin Emile, I met you late in life but your warm spirit made me feel like you were always there. So many times you reached out and the labors of life kept me busy and I neglected to be a better cousin. Please forgive me. I wish we had more time. I know you are resting in peace and I pray we continue what we started when it’s my time. I will miss you my long lost cousin!
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who’s lives he touched!
