Daniel G. Johnson

Loving son, brother, uncle, and great uncle, Daniel Johnson passed away January 8th, 2022 after a life long illness.

Daniel grew up in West Brighton, attended Sacred Heart Grammar School, Moore Catholic High School and graduated from Susan Wagner High School.

Daniel enjoyed watching Giants, Yankees and listening to 1980s music. He had a heart of gold, loved spending time with his family and always put everyone before himself.

He was a resident of Sea View Rehab Center and Home where he made friends with many of the residents and employees.

He is survived by his mother Mary, brother Robert (Cindy), sister Cheryl (Gary) and brother Eric (Deneen). He is also survived by 5 nephews, 3 nieces, 5 great nephews and 2 great nieces and his Aunt Ione Segar.

He was predeceased by his father Robert Johnson in 2011.

Funeral service will be held at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11:00am followed by a burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery.  Viewing for family and friends will be on Thursday morning from 9-11:00am.
