You have been the best father I could ever wish for, and I feel truly blessed to call you my dad. Your love, strength, and selflessness shaped who I am, and I will carry your legacy with me always. You live on in my heart, and I promise to continue making you proud. My heart aches with how much I miss you already—the little things like our car rides, relaxing by the pool, and the breakfast sandwiches you’d bring me. I could just see us all on Garfield playing stick ball when we all were young teenagers. I could remember so vividly that very akward swing that you had. I remember you were one of the fastest in our click. I remember those memories from so many years ago as if they were yesterday and yet here I find myself having to say bye to you. Rest in peace my brother and give my regards to Gilbert, Harry and Billy.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to your family and friends. Alvin and i haven’t seen each other for many years but i remember the good times we had when we were kids. Playing stick ball, basketball, football and many other games that today’s kids have never heard of. Some times, we would stay out late, just shooting the breeze or playing a night game. I miss those days but i miss my friend more. Alvin will be missed by all those who knew him but he will never be forgotten.

What a tremendous loss. Alvin was one of those friends who you cared about unconditionally. I will cherish the great times we had. My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to his entire family and friends.

I miss you more than words will ever be able to express. Some days, I catch myself rereading your old text messages, just to letting you know I was there.
It still doesn’t feel real that you’re gone. My heart aches, but I find comfort knowing you’re no longer in pain, no longer suffering. You’re up there now, with the Big Man, finally at peace. I imagine you smiling, cracking jokes, and living it up the way you always deserved to.
You earned your wings the day you left us, and now you’re free—free to fly, free to rest, free from all the hurt this world threw your way. We love you deeply, and we miss you more than you could ever know. Your presence will forever live on in our hearts.
