Shelly-Ann Grey was born in Jamaica to Merlene Campbell and Errol Grey, a vibrant soul whose journey brought light and joy to everyone she encountered. In 1984, Shelly-Ann migrated to New York, where she built a beautiful life filled with family, friends, and cherished memories.

She was always the life of the party, whether dancing to her favorite music—especially rock—or making everyone laugh with her infectious energy. She adored makeup and loved using her creativity to make herself and others feel beautiful.

Her family was the heart of her life. A devoted mother to Robert, Samantha, Tyler, and Amber, and a proud grandmother to Jeremiah and Aubree, as well as a loving partner to Oscar; Shelly-Ann poured her love into every moment she spent with them.

Shelly-Ann attended Port Richmond High School in Staten Island, where she formed lifelong friendships that remained a constant source of joy.

A woman of deep faith, Shelly-Ann loved attending church and often sought the power of prayer, even in her most challenging times. Her love for children, her warm heart, and her ability to brighten a room with her laughter will always be remembered.

Shelly-Ann is survived by her children, Robert Grey, Samantha-Ann Grey, Tyler-Ann Richardson, and Amber-Ann Houghtaling; her mother, Merlene Campbell; her grandchildren, Jeremiah and Aubree Wright; her partner, Oscar Perez; her brother, Rohan Grey; her nephew, David Grey; her aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and unwavering spirit.
