Father Nick was a wonderful person. I remembered him saying mass at St. Clemens and sometimes arriving a little late.
A loss for us, but a gain for heaven. Rest in peace Father Nick.

  3. My deepest sympathies to the Soares Family. Monsignor Nick was the true meaning of faith to my family. May he rest in peace and smile down on all of us.

  4. Monsignor you were my child hood pastor and I remember the many things that you had taught me. May the lord receive you in his blessing hands. Much love.

    Msgr. Nick,
When I first met you, I was drawn to you immediately. You were so friendly, sincere, kind, thoughtful, forgiving & understanding. When I would work a 4-12 shift on a Saturday evening and get home around 1:00am, I couldn’t wait to go to Mass to see him on Sunday morning at 9:00am at St.Clements. He would tell us some beautiful stories during the sermon. Heaven has gained one of the Best monsignor that I have ever met. May God bless and rest your soul. I will never forget you!

He was a man on a mission and beyond with minimal of rest. He was always on the go doing many things from A to Z. His schedule was overloaded, but he got things done. Taking care of two churches, Caring, listening to the people. Many people that knew him could only say beautiful words about him. We the people love him like a Monsignor, a priest, a father, a brother, an advisor and a mentor, truly a friend indeed. I will deeply miss him. He would truly be missed by many, Abut never forgotten…. Rest in peace….. My Monsignor
