John F. Galindo…..Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend

John F. Galindo sadly passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Maimonides Medical Center at the age of 64.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Philip and Mercedes Galindo and his brother, Philip Galindo.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Emily (nee Kaller) Galindo and his loving children, John W. Galindo and James and Camilla Forman as well as his brothers, Jose (wife, Terri) Galindo and Robert (wife, Laura) Galindo and his many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.   

John was a beloved husband, proud father and uncle, adored son-in-law and loyal friend to his many friends and family.  He had a keen intellect, a quick wit, and an endless supply of jokes, but was best known for his kind and generous nature.  He would extend a helping hand to old friends and new acquaintances alike and was often described as a true gentleman and a mensch.  His will be sorely missed.   

Services were entrusted to the care of Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue.  Condolences can be sent to the family at www.cherubinifunerals.com.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 4:00pm-8:00pm, with a blessing in the funeral home on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:30am and a burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

  5. I was deeply saddened today at work when I heard about John’s passing. He was such a kind and warm person and always brightened my day when I would see him in the lobby. He will be truly missed!
