Helen F. Hargraves (nee Hug) passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at St. Luke\’s, in Stroudsburg, PA due to COVID-19.
Born and raised in the Bronx, she worked as an Associate for Verizon for many years. She married the love of her life and raised two beautiful children. Helen enjoyed crocheting and especially going to the Casino\’s to play \”Joker Poker\”. \”She couldn\’t wait to pull that lever on the machine. She would sit there for 6 to 7 hours and not even go to the restroom\”, as per her loving son, Robert laughing had stated. But her true enjoyment was her family.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Hargraves, Sr. who passed away in August of 1991.
Helen is survived by her loving children, Robert Jr. (Betty) Hargraves and Karen (Edmond) Papazian, her beloved grandchildren, Robert (Amanda) Hargraves, Matthew (Gabriela) Hargraves and Adam Papazian (Samantha), along with her cherished great grandchildren, AJ, Eli and Jace.
