  6. Dear Tom and family,
Prayers have already been said and will continue. I remember meeting you and your mom early in the 90’s. Each time I came into the office, your mom would tell me about real estate situations and how she handled them. She was a straight shooter and I liked it. She also told me how and why she became a realtor because she knew that I was impressed that she, and very few other woman at the time, had their own real estate businesses on the island. Kudos to her for her success and for raising two fine sons.

To a woman I will never forget. My deepest condolences. Rachel was very special to me. She was a pioneer in our industry as well. I was fortunate enough to do some of my first real estate work with her, and later served with her on the SIBOR Board of Directors and on various committees. We also co-chaired the MLS rules committee for a number of years.
She will always be in my heart. Thoughts and prayer with you and your family, Tom

  10. I first met Rachel when I was 12 years old when she moved into our neighborhood in Westerleigh. Her sons Kenny and Tom then become part of our childhood friends. Little did I know that Tom would be my brother-in-law one day! I remember all the fun times we had growing up. Rachel and her mom Mrs Magnotti we’re always friendly and kind. Then as I got older I remember Rachel always showing up at our family parties with those delicious desserts coming back from a weekend in Atlantic City. She always had great stories about life, real estate and growing up in Brooklyn. She will be missed and never forgotten. Rest In Peace Rachel!

We met Rachael in 1979 after having one child and wishing to buy a home. She helped us get a home and a mortgage with only $1500 down! If it was not for her, we probably would have never purchased a home. She was confident she could help us and she did! Other realtors refused to work with us as our budget was too low for them. Our first home was $47,000 in West Brighton, we sold that house five years later for $125,000! Today our third home is worth over one million and because of her here we are. Thank you Rachael, you went the extra mile to help a clueless young couple fulfill their dream of owning a home in their hometown. Our sincere sympathy. RIP.
