Dante F. Alario, 91, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020 at Eger Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in the Bronx, he eventually moved to Brooklyn where he met and married the love of his life for nearly 70 years, the late Angelina. They had two sons, James and John.
Dante worked for close to 40 years as a school bus driver and in his free time, enjoyed Bowling, Horse Racing, watching old western movies and enjoyed cooking, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his late wife, Angelina in 2018.
Survived by his dear sons, John (Jeanne) and James Alario (Lourdes) and his loving grandchildren, James, John, Dante and Victoria Alario.
Funeral from Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Ave, is on Tuesday at 9:15am with a Mass at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10am. Viewing hours will be on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm followed by an entombment at Moravian Cemetery.
