Godfrey C. Fraser passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Richmond University Medical Center at the age of 77.
Godfrey is survived by his adoring wife, Grace, his sons, Cleveland, Terrence, Marlon and Garey, his daughters, Yonnette, Amanda and Crystal and his 13 grandchildren Angelique, Tyesha, Shanette, Andrew, Arianna, Doron, Talia, Isaiah, Andrew, Shawn, Kairee, Ava, and Jamie.
He is predeceased by his son and daughter Malcolm and Denise Fraser.
Godfrey was born on February 17, 1942 in Berbice, Guyana to his parents Annie Rose and Van Fraser.
He was a retired physical therapist for over 20 years. Godfrey was known as a sharp, inquisitive man with a passion for reading, music and an amazing sense of style. He enjoyed reading fictional books about espionage, listening to Jazz, Reggae and R&B, and remained active. He was a great father and husband.
Family and friends are invited to Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home on Friday, March 8 from 4pm-8pm and Saturday from 830am-11am, followed by a burial at St. Peter\’s Cemetery.
