Camille

Camille Luciano (nee Petrizzo) passed away on January 25, 2019 at the age of 71.  Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, she resided in Port Richmond.  Camille graduated from Port Richmond High in 1965 and received a Master of Science in Education from The College of Staten Island in 1984.  She was a teacher at Holy Rosary School for 25 years before retiring in 2009.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Michael Luciano, Sr.; sons Michael (Susan) and James (Laurie); granddaughters, Maya and Ava; brother, Vincent Petrizzo, Jr. (Denise); nephew, Vincent Petrizzo III and niece, Gina Petrizzo.  Camille is predeceased by her parents, Vincent Petrizzo, Sr. and Mary Petrizzo (nee DePeppo).

Camille adored spending time with her family and friends.  She loved cooking, shopping, going to broadway shows and cruises, as well as seeing her husband sing in his band, Deja-Vu Experience.  Camille celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary on May 12, 2018 with a big party at Li Greci’s Staaten with over 100 people in attendance.  She was a Gone With the Wind and Wizard of Oz enthusiast.  She was also a member of St. Roch’s Seniors, St. Ann’s Society Columbiettes and Ladies of Charities.  

The funeral will be held at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 9:15am with a mass at St. Roch’s R.C. Church at 10am.  Entombment will be at Moravian Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited for viewing on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Camille’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
