Kenneth Adrian Chappell

A lifelong Staten Islander, Kenneth Adrian Chappell, 91, passed away peacefully in the same Westerleigh home that he was born in on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

A Navy veteran, Kenneth proudly served in WWII, and then worked for the Virginia Barreli Company. He loved gardening and raising many different types of animals and birds and enjoyed vacationing in upstate, NY. When he was younger he loved to bowl. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, sitting on his sun porch and listening to his records, but his greatest joy was eating.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Faith Chappell (nee Wetmore). Son of the late Wilfred and Madelyn (nee close) Chappell. Loving father to Debra Agrell, Donna Hughes and Kenny Chappell. Adoring Grandfather to Stacey Olsen (Agrell), Andrew Chappell, Richie Chappell, Kellie Hughes, Heather Chappell, Danny Hughes and the late Brian Agrell. Beloved Great-Grandfather to Tori Knell, Rylie Olsen and Chase Olsen.

Funeral Services will be held at, Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 9th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with a service beginning at 8pm. Private Cremation to follow.
