Audrey K. Hansen of Staten Island, NY passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the age of 83.

Born in Brooklyn in 1934 she was the daughter of Viggo and Carmela Hansen.  Growing up she moved to Staten Island and worked as an insurance underwriter for many years until her retirement.  Audrey enjoyed gardening, traveling, shopping for antiques and she was even a team captain for her bowling league. But she truly had a special love for her family.

Audrey was predeceased by her brother, William, her sister, Violet and her brother-in-law, Steven Brandel.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Karen Brandel and Eleanor Hansen.

Funeral will be at Cherubini McInerney Funeral Home, 1289 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY with a service on Saturday at 10:00am at St. John’s Lutheran Church with a burial at Moravian Cemetery.  Family and friends are welcome to visit on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

    Audrey, you will be missed greatly. You are an example of a person who showed true Christian humility. You were always a good friend, supporting me and anyone else in time of need. You always knew that Jesus was your best friend! I will be praying for Ellie and Karen. I will also be thinking of you at Jones Beach!!!

    God Bless you as you go forward into a wonderful new experience of the Life ahead.
