Carol Laub, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on October 26, 2026. She was born on October 19, 1937, in New Brighton, Staten Island.
Carol shared 50 years of hard work and partnership with her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Laub, at their family business, Laub’s Autobody. Together, they raised their family in New Brighton before moving to Graniteville, where Carol was known for her beautifully manicured front lawn and lovely backyard.
She loved gardening and caring for her home, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren: Robert and Sean Mahoney, and Kevin and Thomas Laub. Carol’s warmth and devotion to her family will be cherished always.
Carol was predeceased by her husband, Tommy, who passed away in October 2011, and her beloved daughter, Debra “Debbie” Mahoney, who passed away in September 2021. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Laub Jr. and Kevin Laub; her sister, Audrey Appelt; and her four grandsons, Robert, Sean, Kevin, and Thomas.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2026, at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 52 Tyler Avenue, Staten Island, NY. It will be followed by a repass at LiGreci’s Staaten, 697 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10310.
Carol will be deeply missed by her family and all who know and loved her.
